  1. i particularly liked the voice of the grandfather, conjuring up a convincing world of failure and trailer park. once you get into that milieu or are born into it....a fine story developed into something i hadn´t expected, very well drawn characters

  2. Poetic prose that pulsates with the vigour of desperate lives. Great characterisation and dialogue;threads of compassion and love woven through end games and despair. A compeeling read, thank you,

  4. Great tale, characters alive and kicking up a storm, and the author's voice so special it sends me looking for more of his work. Hearty congratulations.

  5. A great read. Grandpa's love for Zeb convinces the reader he's really a good guy. But we see Zeb going the wrong direction. Do we cheer him on or hope for his sake he gets stopped? There's the tension that moves the story forward.
