Horror is a vast spectrum, from creature to splatterpunk to 'weird', etc., but the things that are real in our lives are the most horrific, if shed under a certain light. One of the driving factors in today's society, in technological advancement and creativity and aggression, is the human will to overcome death and obsolescence.
