WelcomeWelcome to the website of Gordon Cumming, who is really rather a nice guy. The rest of the text on this website is filler, designed to show off the layout and style of the site until the content is written. 
BookbindingMost importantly it will be to enable people who want bookbinding work done to make enquiries and communicate. I can do this with email, but a website is a bit more user-friendly and helpful, and can offer options and suggestions. It can also show examples. This will be particularly helpful whilst I am in Norway – June to August 2006. It would mean I could advertise the website, and update the site (hopefully) with a schedule of when I might be in Bergen or Oslo to meet and talk about book repairs or other commissions. I can also put on the site any courses or workshops I might arrange in Norway – that would be good. InterestsThe website could include a bit about myself – interests like piano playing and photography, and sailing and cooking. PhotographsIt would be good to show some of my photographs. These might be wide-ranging, so not necessarily tied to a particular subject or action line on the site. Email linkI assume a link to an email address is easy to include, without needing to disclose the email address. A 'click here' button may enable me to send different things to different email addresses.
