I enjoyed the tension between the narrator's blunt, matter-of-fact voice and the fantastical situation he found himself in; another workday for him nonetheless. The story flowed smoothly to to a very satisfying conclusion for me--that one statement from his passenger told a story of its own about what had happened to her, and what was going to happen, letting me fill in the details on my own.
