The plot moves quickly, the characters are carefully drawn and believable, and I sympathize with the narrator's predicament--and inevitable disappointment. Although this is a futuristic story, the emotional drama applies just as well to earth-bound, present-day experiences—the dream come true that becomes a nightmare, losing control of your life, the anguish of separation and loneliness, surviving the loss of love and everything familiar. A tour de force. Bravo!
Sheila Sharpehttp://sheilasharpe.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-155197540326010032.post-29361999407739836292018-10-27T15:40:51.927+01:002018-10-27T15:40:51.927+01:00Certainly sets a bar of expertise with language sk...Certainly sets a bar of expertise with language skills. While the dead-on descriptions give the story so much life, it's really the emotions that suck you in, put your right into each scene. I honestly thought it would not be for me based on the descriptive blurb, but once I started reading I was won over and big time. This is outstanding (wait, didn't I already say that?) ;-) Great stuff.

Thanks
Jim
Jim Bartletthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03429957545169700110noreply@blogger.com
