It is done chronologically, but in reverse. One finds the MC’s severe resolution to his problem explained step by step in a wry, dryly-amusing tale of the world’s worst day. I've know people in my life who have face many of these situations, not all in the same day. Non the less 2 of them chose to take there own lives. The others made it through with their strong faith in God, & support from family & friends. Ron didn't know if there was a God, or if there was, why He would allow all these things to happen. He was crying out for help, even if it was just a 911 call. Great story Jim, to make us all stop & think: What would I do if I lost everything? One of my older friends Martin, a cancer survivor once told me, "Where there's life, there's hope." Yes, you lose the element of surprise, but there's such pathos in the ending/beginning when he's setting out with such optimism. I think lots of us can identify with that sense of having come through a bad time, thinking your troubles are over, but they're not.Anne Goodwinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04184575753612760952noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-155197540326010032.post-12540197308139529252013-08-22T17:37:26.607+01:002013-08-22T17:37:26.607+01:00Many thanks for the feedback, Irena!!
