My professor (Thank you Shukti) made me discover a small part of your work, choosing “Death By Scrabble” as the theme of a lesson and I really liked it. It is the reason why she presented me another of your texts, “Schrödinger’s Baby”.
I hope you will allow me to criticize it with my limited linguistic capacities, especially since, globally, in general I liked this text a lot.
Your introductory sentence is very expressive, however the expression “DNA fighting to organize” made me uncomfortable since in genetics everything is so perfectly organized from the very first cell, genetic determinants are all in place, for better or worse.
My second point is that this text is rich enough to build two short stories, one on the counting down of time and the other on the classic issue of the closed door, the keys being inside the house. I particularly liked that very interesting character of the Indian guy behind the counter.
Very happy to have discovered your work.maxthaborhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06762788845772276489noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-155197540326010032.post-71248865606640742012016-06-14T16:53:24.900+01:002016-06-14T16:53:24.900+01:00Superb sustained tension, from start to finish! I especially loved the ticking comparison.

The inclusion of dialog was perfect to demonstrate the details about both Mo and Frank. Clever ending as well.

A most enjoyable read.

Thank you!
