Interesting to speculate where the family goes from here.Ron Schultehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05058258071909410778noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-155197540326010032.post-19117612560753270612021-09-25T18:15:19.358+01:002021-09-25T18:15:19.358+01:00Loved this over multiple readings. There's obviously more backstory here. Would also like to learn more about Moira's circumstances, career, etc. The dialog is great. I don't intend for my comments to be taken as criticism, more that I found the characters and circumstances compelling.David Lanverthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02047128645776257464noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-155197540326010032.post-30143644642164899812021-09-24T16:49:24.061+01:002021-09-24T16:49:24.061+01:00You've captured the abusive father and grandfa...You've captured the abusive father and grandfather, traumatized children, enabling sibling, down to the grandchildren in a short amount of time two scenes and a flashback, quite a feat for a family portrait. The only character I felt that got left out was Sean, I would have liked to have known more about him and how he felt. But this is such a tight, compact story, and it works that way.
